thus saith the lord thus saith the lord thus saith the lord thus saith the lord

when i was little i thought anastasia and prince of egypt was disney, but it's actually dreamworks.
not that it really makes a difference to me though, it's still an awesome movie.

so right now my list of favourite movie producing companies (is that what its called?)
are

1. disney. i doubt it will ever change, unless they kill their animation and go on with their stupid tween shows because i never like any of them. not even lizzie mcguire when i was a kid. +miley cyrus should be stoned. but only because i dont like her.

2. dreamworks. there's so many films they do that people think are done by disney LOL. unlike pixar, which is actually owned by disney

3. studio ghibli. most of their stuff's really hectic and dream-like, eg spirited away. i really like their movies but as a kid i watched them too much. i guess thats where i get my random dreams from..

4. ehm. i dont know any particulars. warner bros? hah.

anyways, so i was analysing the film prince of egypt.
i think its the first time i watched it since i turned 9.
when you watch it after 3 years of being trained as a mini film critic, you begin to notice all the little elements and features you just looked over as a kid.
like those seemingly pointless/random scenes or things you don't understand because you're too young to?
yeah. well. heh :)

for example, this screenshot was taken after the red sea caves back in over pharoh and his army.
SEE I AN EGYPTIAN? this cleared up a lot of confusion for me because i thought they'd all been killed because they were egyptians and they were trying to kill hebrews but i was like but they were only following orders ):
were they killed based on race? no, turns out it was based on faith :)

ha eun is soo good at clearing up stuff like these .

i wanna watch howls moving castle next.
WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES SO I KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON FOR THE MOST PART.

jap.. fml.
my marks are making me confused. i'm meant to be happy and sad and disappointed and proud all at the same time.
